Personal data

Below are, by way of example and not limited to, the categories of data that we normally process: 

- Personal and contact details (e.g. surname and name, sex, date and place of birth, tax code, identity document data; address, telephone number, e-mail address);
- Data relating to the contractual relationship in place with the Reale Mutua Assicurazioni Company;
- Data collected for commercial purposes (eg interests, family composition, number of children, etc.);
- Information collected through the use of cookies and pixel tags. 

In some cases, even at the request of the Judicial Authority, the Company may carry out processing of judicial data that reveal the existence of certain measures subject to registration in the criminal record (e.g. definitive criminal convictions, conditional release, prohibition or residence obligation, alternative measures to detention).

Legal basis and purpose of processing of personal data of data subjects

The legal basis for processing is provision of the service and/or execution of the pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the data subject.

The personal data provided directly by the data subject (by sending e-mail messages to the e-mail addresses of the website or filling in specific forms) will be processed to provide and perform the requested services and the functionalities envisaged on the website www.realegroup.eu.

Processing methods

Personal data processing will take place in such a way as to ensure confidentiality and guarantee data subjects the possibility to assert their rights and will be carried out using methods and procedures that also involve electronic or automated means, as well as the use of dedicated algorithms, in order to meet that requested by data subjects or envisaged in their favour. The data will be processed by all employees and collaborators of the Company within the scope of their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions received, always and only for the achievement of the specific purposes indicated in this policy and in compliance with current legislation. Moreover, for certain services, the Company may make recourse to third parties that carry out activities of a technical, organisational and operational nature on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of the Company itself, in Italy or abroad. The data will be stored for a period of time compatible with fulfilment of the legal and contractual obligations, as well as with the case archiving process.

Duration of retention of personal data

The data will be kept for a period of time compatible with the fulfillment of legal and contractual obligations, without prejudice to the limitation period provided for by the legislation for the protection of related rights and / or longer retention periods established by sector regulations or as a result of the balance between the legitimate interest of the Data Controller and respect for the rights and freedoms of the data subject. In any case, the Company will take action, on a periodic basis, to verify the effective persistence of the interest of the person to whom the data refers with respect to the purposes mentioned above and, in its absence, to proceed with the relative cancellation.

Transfer of data abroad

Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA), always within the scope of the purposes indicated in this policy and in compliance with current international regulations and agreements. In this event, the transfer will take place on the basis of the cases provided for by current legislation, including the use of BRC - Binding Corporate Rules, the application of standard contractual clauses defined by the European Commission or following a preliminary assessment of the adequacy of the personal data protection system of the country importing the data.

Rights of the data subject (Arts. 12-23 of the Regulation)

You have the right to know, at any time, which is the data at our company, its origin and how it is processed; you also have the right, if the legal conditions are met, to have it updated, supplemented, rectified or erased, to receive a copy in a structured format, to request its blocking and to object at any time to its processing in accordance with the procedures set out in the EU Regulation and to receive timely feedback in this regard. You also have the right, if the conditions are met, to contact the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.
