ASSOCIAZIONE LINGOTTO MUSICA

In over twenty years of activity, the Lingotto Music Association (Associazione Lingotto Musica) has brought the best of the world’s symphonic music to Turin, as part of its series of Concerts at Lingotto (I Concerti del Lingotto). The Association’s activity was then extended, in 1998, with the introduction of Lingotto Giovani (Lingotto Youth), a season of chamber music offering the audiences of Turin a chance to hear the best musicians chosen by the juries of the most prestigious international competitions.
Reale Mutua, which has always been a keen promoter of musical culture and its dissemination, has supported the Associazione Lingotto Musica since 2013, thereby demonstrating once again its close links to the area it has operated in for over 190 years.

TEATRO REGIO

The Teatro Regio of Turin is one of the most important opera houses in Italy, as well as being one of the most prestigious Italian theatres on the European and international music scene.
With around 14,000 season ticket holders, plus box office audiences, the Turin theatre achieves 250,000 spectators yearly.
Reale Mutua traditionally maintains close links to cultural circles in the area in which it operates and has supported the Teatro Regio of Turin since 2012, in its capacity of Founder Member, thus making a contribution towards keeping alive a great tradition, by promoting the activities and helping to safeguard an important artistic and cultural heritage.

CIRCOLO LETTORI

Inaugurated in 2006 with the support of Regione Piemonte, the Turin Literary Club (Circolo dei lettori) is a dynamic, innovative cultural hub which organizes book launches, readings, reading groups, and workshops for children, as well as literary trips: the only place in Italy with such a wide range of cultural activities and types of spaces available.
Reale Mutua has been a Partner in the Literary Club since 2017, supporting the Foundation’s activities and jointly developing ad hoc meetings and events on issues of common interest.

CONSULTA TORINO

The Commission for Developing the Artistic and Cultural Assets of Turin (Consulta di Torino) was set up in 1987, for the purpose of helping to develop and improve the usability of Turin’s historical and artistic heritage.
In thirty years of activity, including working jointly with the heritage protection Institutions and Authorities, over 30 million euros have been invested and 90 projects of restoration and improvement completed.
Reale Mutua has supported the Consulta since 1997, as a Member, and made a contribution towards safeguarding the historical and artistic heritage of Turin, the city in which it has operated for over 190 years.
A memorable occasion took place in 2017, to celebrate the thirty years of activity of the association, with the important joint project between the Consulta and Reale Mutua for upgrading the Boschetto (Little Wood) in the Royal Gardens of Turin, where the work called Pietre Preziose (Precious Gems) by the artist Giulio Paolini was installed.

BIENNALE DEMOCRAZIA

The Biennale Democrazia is a cultural event promoted by the City Council of Turin and organised by the Turin Foundation for Culture (Fondazione per la Cultura Torino). The aim behind this idea is to spread the culture of democracy in order to transform it into democratic practice.
This is a permanent workshop of ideas, open to everyone, paying special attention to students in high schools and universities. The project is structured in a series of preparatory events and intermediate stages, culminating, every two years, in a five-day festival of public meetings, involving and including the presence of the leading lights of national and international culture.
Reale Mutua has been a Partner in Biennale Democrazia since 2009: it is a cultural appointment of the utmost importance for the local area, which the Company continues to support most enthusiastically - this is a responsible commitment in favour of culture and its dissemination.
